Final Fantasy XIV Online

Final Fantasy XIV is set in the fantasy region of Eorzea, five years after the devastating Seventh Umbral Calamity which ended the original version. In the Calamity, the elder primal Bahamut escaped from his prison, an ancient space station called Dalamud, unleashing an apocalypse across Eorzea. Through temporal magic, the player character of the original version escaped, reappearing at the start of A Realm Reborn. As Eorzea cements its recovery, the player must fend off a reignited invasion from the Garlean Empire.

My Warrior of Light (WoL)

Name: Dahlia
Race: Miqo'te (I change a lot but canonically, she is Miqo)
Age: Late 20's

The following is Lia's lore outside of the main story. This is the story that I roleplay with. It is generally accepted that the main story of the game does not apply in roleplay settings.

Occupation: Traveling Healer & Apothecary
Brief Background: Lia's parents died very soon after her birth, leaving her to be raised by the village's leader and the leader's daughter who was only a few years older than Lia. Under the leader's guidance, Lia studied the healing arts and became very adept at it. At the age of 18, Dahlia gave birth to a little girl, Imani. The father was a passing traveling merchant whom she never saw again. A few years later, at 21, Imani wandered past the village's bounds when Lia was distracted with her studies and was attacked by a coerl. Dahlia didn't find her limp body until half an hour later. Realizing the consequences of her neglect, Lia fled from the village, ashamed of herself. Finding herself leaving the Shroud on a boat to Kugane, Lia soon met a man who ran a host club. Being the first time in a city, Lia found herself working as a maid at the host club where she was given a room to stay in and any amenities she might need. This soon evolved into a relationship, and eventually an engagement after a few years working there. Having been gone from home so long, Lia's homesickness got the best of her and she decided she was going to make the long trek back home. Her adoptive mother and sister were beyond relieved to see her, having thought she had lost her life at sea. After a week of staying with them, Lia and her sister returned to Kugane. After only being back for a few months, Lia decided to call her engagement off, since the two of them had been growing apart for a while now as Lia struggled to work through the guilt of losing her daughter. The two siblings decided instead to see more of the world, where Lia could offer her healing and apothecary services. They traveled from Kugane to Ishgard, where they've been staying for a few weeks now.
